Morning Meeting for Grades 3-5

Tuesdays from 10:00 AM-10:55 AM

Dive into the world of current events with our engaging class designed for elementary students! In this class, young learners will explore important topics happening around the world today, developing critical thinking skills as they analyze news stories and discuss their implications. Through guided debates and group discussions, students will learn to express their opinions respectfully, consider different perspectives, and back up their ideas with evidence. This class fosters curiosity and encourages thoughtful dialogue, helping students become informed, confident, and active participants in their communities.  In addition, students decide on community projects to support those in need.  Join us to explore, question, and debate the world around us!

​Reading Adventures for Grades 3-5

Let's read some great stories together! Students will participate in creative and hands-on activities that reinforce their understanding and appreciation of literature. By connecting with timeless and modern stories and characters, students will not only improve their reading skills but also gain insights and inspiration that will stay with them for a lifetime!

Time Travelers for Grades 3-5

Students will explore the essential principles covering topics such as  diverse cultures, important historical events, and the structure of government. This class will help students understand their place in the community and the world around them.

Spanish: An Introduction for Grades 3-5

In this dynamic Spanish class, young learners embark on a fun-filled journey to explore the basics of the Spanish language and culture. Through games, storytelling, and interactive activities, students will develop foundational vocabulary and conversational skills. The program emphasizes creativity and hands-on learning, making language acquisition exciting and natural for students in grades 3-5. From colors and numbers to greetings, each session builds confidence and joy in communication, sparking a lifelong love for language and cultural exploration.

Art Studio for Grades 3-5

Join us for a fun and creative art class designed especially for elementary students! In this class, young artists will explore a variety of media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, and collage. Each session will introduce new techniques and materials, encouraging children to express their creativity while developing fine motor skills.  We will also explore the great artists of the past and use their works to inspire our imagination!

Math Facts Fluency Practice for Grades 3-5

Build confidence and speed with essential math facts in this engaging, hands-on class! Students will strengthen their addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division fact fluency through interactive games, partner activities, manipulatives, and fun challenges. Each student will track their progress throughout the year, celebrating personal growth and increased accuracy as they master their math facts. Developing strong fact fluency helps students solve more complex math problems with confidence and sets the foundation for future success in mathematics.

Math Wizards for Grades 3-5

This class emphasizes hands-on learning and interactive experiences, making math both fun and meaningful. Students will engage in math games, group challenges, and creative activities that build confidence and deepen their understanding of mathematical principles in many areas including multiplication, division, geometry, and fractions.

Life Skills-SEL Class for Grades 3-5

Join our life skills and social-emotional learning class designed for elementary students! In this class, children will learn valuable skills to help them navigate everyday situations with confidence and kindness. Through interactive activities, role-playing, and group discussions, students will explore topics like communication, empathy, problem-solving, and self-regulation. We'll also focus on building positive relationships, understanding emotions, and making responsible decisions. This class is all about having fun while learning through a variety of hands-on activities that include crafts, games, art, and more. Each week, we'll explore different seasonal themes and holidays, from colorful fall leaves and winter snowflakes to spring blossoms and summer sunshine. Children will create holiday-themed decorations, play interactive games, and make seasonal crafts that they can take home to share with their families.
